With over 30 years of practice as a feline-only veterinarian, Dr. Bahr, a 1991 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, has seen firsthand the issues indoor cats face. These challenges, which include behavioral problems, risks of abandonment, re-homing, and premature euthanasia, often stem from a lack of stimulation and enrichment.
Inspired by her first indoor-only cats, Dezi and Roo, Dr. Bahr is dedicated to helping cat parents understand the essential needs of their indoor cats. Her mission is to provide them with the knowledge and tools to help their cats thrive.
Enrichment is not just about keeping a cat entertained—it's about enhancing their physical and mental well-being. Proper enrichment can prevent behavioral issues, reduce stress, and create a happier, healthier environment for the cat.
