We love outfitting dogs. It's fun, but it's actually more than that. Short-coated breeds don't have the extra insulation that double-coated breeds like Huskies do, and can really use a light fleece or sweater inside to combat drafts, and a thicker fleece or insulated coat outside for wind and cold temperatures. Coats & booties have an added bonus...just peel off the muddy clothes at the door & there's way less mess. So you see it's really about happier dogs (and people).
Tip: Choosing the right size is easy with these four measurements: girth (widest part of the rib cage), length (base of neck to base of tail), neck (with two fingers under the measuring tape), and width of paw.
