Tip: Brushing stimulates the release of natural oils, which make the fur shiny and provides a moisturizing protective layer to the skin. Regular brushing also removes debris and dirt, and allows a window into your pup’s health and an early warning system for fleas and ticks. Baths are great, but if your dog is healthy, try not to bathe more than once every two weeks so you don’t dry out the skin and coat.  And be sure to use a natural, gentle shampoo and conditioner just for dogs (their Ph is different from ours, so a human shampoow really dry them out).
